Description

Nudge Digital are a web development agency based in central Bristol (just off Park Street). We are looking for a talented web developer to join our expanding team.

We offer our clients web development and design, as well as consultancy on online strategy, particularly for startups. As such, our work is interesting, challenging and, most of all, fun! We develop using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, Flash, AJAX and a whole host of other cool technologies.

We don't want you to turn up looking smart; jeans and t-shirt is our dress code. We'll give you time to play around with new technologies and learn about cool stuff. Our working hours are flexible (within reason of course!).

As a small company, if you prove yourself to be exceptional you will have a large role in taking the company forward.

Skills and qualities

• Knowledge of PHP/MySQL and HTML/CSS essential.
• Drupal knowledge / experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks (e.g. CodeIgniter) and JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery, Prototype, MooTools) helpful.
• Ability to develop to W3C standards.
• Ability to think around problems and try unorthodox approaches.
• Background in IT / Computer Science preferred although academic qualifications not necessary for exceptional self-starters.

Job details

• Salary £18k-22k depending on experience.
• Interviews early March.
• To start as soon as possible.
