Award-winning design and marketing agency, Flourish, are currently recruiting for a part time Junior Web Developer to work from their Guildford based studio. You’ll be a part of a creative, hard-working and energetic team that specialises in creating powerful brand identities and engaging websites for our clients.

The role

 

Working alongside our Senior Web Developer you’ll be responsible for developing front-end code for our proprietary CMS system for websites. You’ll also develop Wordpress themes for client blogs.

 

Additionally you’ll be providing support and fixes for client managed websites, be responsible for server management and populating websites with content.

 

This is a role that is based from our Guildford studio. You must be available during office hours and able to come in to the studio to work.

You

 

You’ll have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering a top notch service. It is essential that you have the ability to work as part of a team, work to deadlines and communicate with your fellow team members. We’re a close-knit team and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail, high levels of customer service and intelligent solutions – and we’ll be expecting the same of you.

 

You’ll be a great listener and have a strong track record of taking on and following through instructions precisely. You’ll be open to learning and will have a good working knowledge of user accessibility issues.

 

You'll have HTML strict/ CSS knowledge. Javascript, PHP and MySQL will be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
