Job Profile

We are looking for driven PHP developers to join our in-house team. Our growing team leverages Agile methodologies to produce high quality software for use by the company and our clients. The role involves both front and back end development in PHP working with Zend Framework. Successful candidates will be writing high-end financial software and will be given excellent support while they learn the advanced programming techniques required to do so.

This is an excellent opportunity for programmers who want to learn how to leverage their PHP skills to write high quality, maintainable software suitable for the financial sector. Whilst the ideal candidate will exhibit all of the qualities listed below, an eagerness to learn new skills in order to advance self-development is the most important quality we are looking for.


The candidate must have the following essential qualities:

• 1 years PHP development
• 1 years MySQL development
• 2 years CSS/XHTML/JavaScript development
• Object Oriented Programming
• Good understanding of the Model-View-Controller pattern
• General Linux/Apache administration
• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK full time

 

The ideal candidate will also have the following desirable qualities:

• Good Degree in Computer Science, Science or Mathematics
• 1 year Zend Framework development
• Experience with a version control system (Git, Subversion, etc.)
• Experience with Agile (Scrum)
