Beyond is an international interactive agency with offices in London, New York and in San Francisco. We conceptualize, design and develop creative online brand solutions and web applications for international and domestic customers.

 

Our portfolio ranges from full-blown social campaigns to corporate branding sites to custom content management systems. Our clients include Google, YouTube, Visa, Cisco and IBM.

If you like to work on fun and exciting projects and love the feeling of producing a piece of work you can really be proud of, then we might have a good fit!

 

Besides knowing how to code, you should…

• Develop pragmatically, with an eye to readability and re-usability
• Be an adherent to the principles of DRY and KISS, and appreciate the virtues of clear code and explanatory naming.
• Understand classical OO plus multiple inheritance, mixins, and the utility of having first class functions.
• Be comfortable working with HTML, CSS and Javascript (jQuery); you’re not expected to be a wizard or guru but an understanding of how these elements combine with server-side programming to form a cohesive web experience is important.
• Be a clear and conscientious communicator, with excellent written and spoken English; we often develop projects between the US and UK so good communication is essential.

 

Most of our Python projects run on Google App Engine; any experience with this platform is an advantage and should be detailed in your application. Well-rounded candidates without App Engine experience will also be considered.
