Ludopoli: Web Application Developer (JS, .NET)

About Ludopoli

Ludopoli was founded in 2008 to help people create, publish and learn through mobile applications and web-based services. Our designers and developers are amongst the leaders in their field, driving our vision to unite exceptional UI with rock-solid code, delighting our users while getting the job done.

We are about to launch our own publishing system, called Flowli. It's a next-generation semantic Web 3.0 application, and it's already powering some of our most demanding web services (portals with 40,000+ articles, 1000 authors!).

Ludopoli has presence in Zurich, Prague and London.

About the Role

We will welcome you as a valued new member of our super friendly, passionate (and occasionally slightly silly) team of outstanding thinkers, designers, developers, strategists and consultants.

You will be working on an exciting range of projects, from mobile services to content-heavy portals to do-good nonprofit projects for that fuzzy feeling in your stomach.

Our talented CTO oversees all development work, so there's help and guidance if needed. We encourage all our employees to engage in an open, ongoing conversation about their work.

We give you time and space to get into the 'flow', and will support your endeavours to sharpen your professional profile and learn new skills (careful, this might include making Pizza or repairing a bicycle)!

Skills & Experience

You should know c#, MVC.NET, Javascript and be interested in technologies like MongoDB and Node.js

It would obviously help greatly if you had experience in developing consumer- and business-facing online services.

We like people with a pragmatic approach, able to solve problems independently if needed, with a good sense for prioritisation (especially if other team members depend on your progress).

You should also be aware of the DRY principle and be able to stick to internal or external guidelines and conventions.

Finally, you'll feel most at home with us if you can voice your praise or concerns openly, play well within a team and are happy to contribute to our friendly company culture.
