Description

Wall London is a growing mail order and online retailer of high quality women’s fashions. We have a permanent position for a part-time Web/Magento/IT Specialist, who will work closely with our marketing team to develop and manage the Wall website as well as all online marketing activities. This role has the option to become a full-time postion and would be ideal for a Junior Developer looking for their next challenge in a fast paced company.

Primary Responsibilities:

·        Maintain and enhancing of Magento e-commerce website to take it to the next level

·        Deploy promotional banners (static and animated), special sections/splash/landing pages

·        Deploy HTML email newsletters

·        Provide spot changes for website pages, user interfaces and interactive information products in an efficient manner

·        Deploy design prototypes

·        Work closely with marketing team as well as external service providers to see projects to completion.

·        IT/Network support of a small office computer and network maintenance

·        Familiarity with internet business models

 

 

Required Qualifications:

·        IT related university degree

·        Excellent knowledge and experience of Magento e-Commerce is essential.

·        Must be fluent in HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, MySQL, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

·        Comfortable with Linux, Apache, MySQL maintenance, Flash and DreamWeaver

·        Experience and knowledge in maintaining an office network.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work within tight deadlines and multi-task various projects in an organised manner.

·        Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

 

 

Salary: 15k-30k negotiable according to hours and experience.
