Assertis: Senior PHP Developer

£40k to £50k + benefits / Tunbridge Wells, Kent

We are looking to hire a smart PHP developer, who knows their OO and the principles behind coding best practice. You’ll be joining a friendly team that shares knowledge, and a company which really values the contribution technical staff make. Here's what you get:

Our offices are in Tunbridge Wells, Kent - about 30 miles south of London, with trains every 15 minutes. We are flexible in our working arrangements and happy to accommodate a mix of working from home and from our offices.

Skills & Requirements

Object Oriented PHP
JavaScript (jQuery, backbone a bonus)
Knowledge of an MVC framework
Experience of using MySQL and knowledge of relational database design
Version control (SVN / Git) experience
Linux (Debian / Ubuntu)
Experience with PHPunit, TDD
Experience with XML and APIs
HTML and CSS
Team Management
