*Who you are*

You are a solid PHP Developer with at least two years of commercial experience. You are excited about startups and enjoy a relaxed and young working environment.

We are in the process of porting the existing PHP code base to Symfony2 so a significant experience with this framework would be a big plus.

We prefer on-site developers but we do understand that talent is hard to reach so we may consider partially remote positions.

You like getting things done and adore git :). You believe in TDD.

*The team*

You will be joining a brand new tech team with two full-time and one part-time staff. You will be the first full-time backend developer hire and will have freedom in making technical decisions in your area.

We are in a very exciting moment in a startup lifecycle: we have just secured funding, our business is solid and we are now creating a robust tech team that will take the company to the next level.

It is a challenge to grow the business online but we are doing things right and we’d be pleased if you joined us in this adventure.

*Skills*

* Good knowledge of OOP design patterns

* Good understanding of the LAMP stack

* Good understanding of version control, we use git

* REST APIs – consuming and writing

* Experience with Symfony and/or other PHP Frameworks

* Experience with TDD, preferably PHPUnit

*Plus Skills*

* Experience with Symfony2

* Experience with BDD, preferably BeHat

* Experience with deployment tools, e.g. capifony

* JQuery or any front-end Javascript frameworks

We are located in Marylebone at London Business School premises.

*Salary*

* 24k – 35k according to experience
